These are waiting to be put together, into miniature collages, about 4" X 7".
Each fabric sample is from an old box of scraps from sewing projects over the past 40 years. The buttons are part of an ongoing collection - when I find unusual buttons, I save them.
I made all my kids overalls when they were preschoolers, and all I had to do was buy little T-shirts. (These fabrics were left-over from my quilting days, when several patchwork quilts were made every year.)
I also made most of my maternity clothes when I had my first child almost 40 years ago.
I found odd pieces of jewelry at garage sales and antique shops, and they always went into 'my box of scraps.
