What The World Eats
Peter Menzel features fifteen families throughout the world in the book "Hungry Planet" - what they ate and how much it cost. Photo gallery here...
(this book raises a lot of questions - locally grown, cost of packaging and transport, and nutritional value.)(Thanks to Child of Africa for the link.)

I love that book!! It is a great coffee table book because it inspires some great discussions. :) Happy Friday mama.. so happy about the puppy still!
Oh, that's one I'll be checking out for sure! :o) Thanks for bringing it to my attention!
Cool, thanks for posting this link!
A picture is worth a thousand words...the smiles show who has the best diet.
Hi Bonita,
Thanks for posting this book. I took it out of the library several months ago. It changed the way I think of my life and my home (apartment). People in this country get so impressed with the over-consumption of Hollywood stars. If they read this book they would discover who is really impressive in this world: people living and surviving and keeping families on nothing at all.
Very interesting and informative. ec
