French Toast With Slivered Almonds and Pecans


I've been making sprouted flaxseed bread with whole wheat flour. I bake three loaves at a time and keep them in the refrigerator. Now that it is just George and I at home I will slice a loaf and make French Toast with all the thick slices. That way I can pull them out for an afternoon snack or for a quick breakfast when I don't have time to cook. Since I didn't have any berries yesterday, I sprinkled this toast with nuts and powdered sugar and then drizzled a little maple syrup over the slices. Had it at 1:30, for a taste thrill with my coffee. Really, just so delicious.
